The international roundtable analytical conference "Defending the Fatherland," which brought together about 30 participants, was held under the auspices of the Permanent Committee of the Union State at the Brest Fortress Memorial Complex Museum. The conference was co-organized by the National Press Center of the Republic of Belarus and the International Club of People's Unity (Russia), according to a Soyuz.by correspondent.
The conference's speakers included representatives of government agencies, political scientists, experts, and scholars from Belarus and Russia, leaders of influential public organizations, international analysts, and representatives of leading media outlets.
The conference was opened by Sergey Glazyev, State Secretary of the Union State.
