Over 100 innovative fire trucks of Belarusian make have been delivered to various fire stations, BelTA has learned.

As part of the fire truck fleet renewal campaign this year the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry has received 103 modern innovative fire trucks made by OOO Pozhsnab. The fire trucks were delivered to various fire stations all over the country. They were made using innovative composite materials, which resist corrosion and meet the highest requirements of the firefighting and rescue service.

OOO Pozhsnab offered unique warranty terms for the trucks. While the warranty period for the chassis is two years as is the standard, the manufacturer offered a five-year warranty for firefighting equipment fasteners and an unprecedented 20-year warranty for the fire tank, the foam tank, the framework, and compartments of the fire superstructure. The trucks were shipped to customers with financial assistance of the Development Bank of the Republic of Belarus (DBRB).

The Emergencies Ministry's spokesman Yevgeny Baranovsky said: “The growing pressure of sanctions and the complicated geopolitical situation do not change values of the state. The task of providing the country with quality and reliable vehicles of Belarusian make that will allow saving more than one human life remains a priority.” The official added that the renewal of the fire truck fleet will continue and will remain in focus of attention of the relevant government agencies and organizations in the next few years.
