Preparations for joint collegium of Belarusian, Russian ministries of foreign affairs discussed

MINSK, 7 September (BelTA) – Coordination between the ministries of foreign affairs was discussed as Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with Russian First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Titov, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs told BelTA.

Sergei Aleinik and Vladimir Titov talked over a broad range of topical regional and global matters, interaction at international platforms. The sides also looked into the realization of the program of concerted actions in the area of foreign policy and preparations for a joint session of the collegiums of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Russian one.

Sergei Aleinik and Vladimir Titov spoke at length about Belarus-Russia interaction within the framework of the Union State of Belarus and Russia and about cooperation between Belarus' and Russia's regions. Close attention was paid to the counteraction of illegal sanctions-based restrictions, import substitution, and implementation of manufacturing cooperation projects.
