According to the National Union of Tourism Industry, participation offers more than just a chance to win an award. It also allows participants to compare their projects with initiatives from other regions, receive expert feedback, establish business contacts, and find partners for joint projects. Participation is open not only to large companies. An interesting guided tour, a regional festival, a museum’s souvenir collection, or a successful marketing campaign can also be submitted.
