Lukashenko sends birthday greetings to Tajikistan president

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended birthday greetings to Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“I know you as an experienced statesman and a strong national leader who enjoys unquestionable respect among the citizens of Tajikistan and well-deserved authority abroad,” the message of greetings reads. “I highly appreciate your work for the sake of peace and prosperity of the country, for raising its prestige in the international arena.”

The head of state emphasized that he attaches great importance to the development of cooperation between Minsk and Dushanbe and cherishes friendly, time-tested relations with the president of Tajikistan.

“I will be glad to continue the trusting dialogue and close joint work on topical issues of bilateral, regional and global agendas,” the Belarusian leader added.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Emomali Rahmon strong health, prosperity and further success in his responsible activity.
