Krutoi meets with first deputy chief of staff of Russia's presidential executive office

Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Dmitry Krutoi has held a working meeting with First Deputy Chief of Staff of Russia's Presidential Executive Office Alexei Gromov, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

“The parties exchanged views on a wide range of Belarus-Russia cooperation agenda. They welcomed the high level of bilateral relations in all areas without exception,” the press service said.

Dmitry Krutoi and Alexei Gromov paid special attention to Belarus-Russia information agenda. “More specifically, they discussed the establishment of a media holding company of the Union State and reviewed progress to implement the corresponding plan signed by the two countries' ministers. In this context, they discussed in detail the operation of the Union State's print media outlets and the Union State's Broadcasting Organization,” the embassy noted.

“We touched upon the broadcasting of the Belarus 24 TV channel in Russia and the Russia 24 TV channel in Belarus in the networks of national media companies, expansion of the broadcasting of Belarusian and Russian radio stations, as well as the work of online media. We highlighted the need for closer cooperation between Belarusian television channels and Russian regional media outlets,” the press service added.
