CIS plenipotentiaries to meet in Minsk on 27 February

The CIS Plenipotentiaries Council is set to hold its regular meeting at the CIS Executive Committee in Minsk on 27 February, BelTA learned from the press service of the CIS Executive Committee.

The plenipotentiaries are expected to discuss the implementation of the roadmap for the initiatives expressed by the heads of delegations during the meetings of the CIS Heads of State Council, the CIS Heads of Government Council, the CIS Foreign Ministers Council and CIS Economic Council in terms of cooperation in security, take stock of foreign policy cooperation within the CIS in 2023 in the context of the CIS international positioning.

The CIS plenipotentiaries will also consider proposals for the draft agenda of the next meeting of the CIS Heads of Government Council, which is to take place in Ashgabat on 24 May.
