Belarus-Russia new integration package to feature 120 projects

Belarus and Russia intend to implement over 120 integration projects, measures, and steps in 2024-2026. Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexei Overchuk made the statement at a session of the High-Level Group of the Council of Ministers of the Union State of Belarus and Russia in Moscow on 22 December, BelTA has learned.

Alexei Overchuk said: “The new integration package of Russia and Belarus, which will cover the 2024-2026 period, is already ready for consideration of the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. The document includes 120 projects, measures, and steps in various areas of cooperation. This time we and Belarusian colleagues have decided to focus on advancing cooperation in cultural and humanitarian affairs.”

The official also stated that the parties had virtually finished implementing the 28 Union State programs, which had been previously authorized by the Supreme State Council of the Union State of Belarus and Russia. “We are about to finish the massive work to realize the main directions in 2021-2023,” the Russian Federation deputy prime minister noted.
