Belarus, Russia agree to coordinate their action in OSCE

Minsk hosted the Belarusian-Russian ministerial consultations on pan-European security on 24 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the consultations the Belarusian delegation was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yuri Ambrazevich, the Russian delegation - by Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Grushko.

The parties had a thorough exchange of views on cooperation between Belarus and Russia in the OSCE and the relations with other European regional organizations.

The parties stressed the allied nature of relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation and agreed on close coordination of their actions within the framework of the OSCE, including in the run-up to the OSCE Ministerial Council meeting in Skopje.
