Belarus prime minister lands in Astana

Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko has landed in Astana, Kazakhstan, BelTA has learned.

Over the course of the two-day working visit the Belarusian head of government will hold a number of meetings with Kazakhstan's leadership. In particular, Roman Golovchenko will meet with Kazakhstan President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and with Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov.

While in Kazakhstan Roman Golovchenko will also take part in the international industrial expo Innoprom Kazakhstan. The prime minister of Belarus as well as his counterparts from Russia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan are expected to examine the exposition and to make speeches during the expo's key plenary session “Industrial strategies of the modern time”. 

Belarusian companies are also taking part in the international industrial expo Innoprom Kazakhstan. Gomselmash, MTZ, MAZ, Atlant, Horizont, Mogilevliftmash, and other ones will present their accomplishments at the expo. Chairwoman of the Belarusian state light industry concern Bellegprom Tatiana Lugina noted that Bellegprom enterprises will also present their products at the expo in Astana.
