Belarus' PM announces agendas of Sochi summits

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko has announced the agendas of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the CIS Heads of Government Council meetings in Sochi, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.

Sochi will host meetings of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the CIS Heads of Government Council on 7 and 9 June, including a number of related events, such as the exhibition of cooperation projects “Eurasia is Our Home” and the 3rd Eurasian Congress. “The agenda of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council will include 22 issues, ten of which will be discussed in a narrow format. The agenda of the CIS Heads of Government Council will feature 17 issues, including three to be discussed in a narrow circle,” Roman Golovchenko said.

According to him, bilateral meetings with heads of government of other countries are planned during the visit. “We will take a closer look at preparations for the meeting with the delegation of the Russian Federation. First of all, we should focus on the practical implementation of the agreements of the heads of state, which were reached during their previous meeting. We also need to discuss further development of industrial cooperation,” the prime minister said.
