15 Russian citizens elected to municipal councils of deputies in Belarus

As many as 15 citizens of the Russian Federation, who permanently reside in the Republic of Belarus, have been elected members of municipal councils of deputies, BelTA learned from Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus Igor Karpenko

Igor Karpenko said: “Fifteen people have become members of local councils of deputies. Eleven people were elected to district councils of deputies and four to rural councils.”

On the single voting day Belarusians elected 110 members of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly and 12,511 members of various municipal councils of deputies.
