Belarusian PM attends new plant launch ceremony in Russia's Ufa

Belarusian Prime Minister Roman Golovchenko took part in a ceremony to launch the Amkodor-Agidel grain drying plant during a working visit to Ufa, BelTA has learned.

A new Belarusian-Russian joint venture in Bashkortostan will produce grain cleaning and drying complexes for post-harvest processing of grains, legumes, cereals and oilseeds. The capacity of plant is up to 40 such complexes per year. The plant, which was built in just nine months, will create about 500 jobs.
"This project shows that together we can create competitive products in a short time," Roman Golovchenko said.
The head of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov noted that the Amkodor-Agidel plant will produce equipment that is very important and necessary for farmers in the Russian region.
"We have also launched the construction of a new Belarusian plant that will make construction and utility vehicles. Those who use Belarusian equipment know that it is very good and reliable," the head of Bashkortostan said. The matter is about the plant Amkodor-Alga that will produce special-purpose vehicles.
