Belarus is ready to host a meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky if it is needed for peace, Press Secretary of the Belarusian President Natalya Eismont told the Russian newspaper Vedomosti, BelTA has learned.

“Belarus has never aspired to the role of mediator, but if it is necessary for peace in our kin country, we are ready to host any meeting. We will conduct everything at the highest level. This topic, however, was not discussed by the Belarusian president with his U.S. counterpart [during his phone call with Trump],” she said.
