Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended birthday greetings to His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian head of state.

“Your pastoral ministry helps preserve Christian values, open new churches, and restore lost shrines,” the message of greetings reads. “By reviving spirituality and preserving peace and accord in society, you are making an invaluable contribution to the development of relations between Belarus and Armenia and the spiritual rapprochement of our kin peoples.”

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Karekin II good health and new successes in his noble, ascetic service.
