Lukashenko calls to prioritize farming standards in agriculture

Farming standards are of great significance in agriculture, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said as he spoke at the plenary session of the national workshop to discuss restoration and use of reclaimed lands in Belarus on 11 November, BelTA has learned.

“The topic is not new but very important for agriculture. Today's major issue is not just land reclamation but farming standards. Of course, land reclamation is the basis. We must implement the plans we outlined long ago within the next two or three years. We have not fulfilled them yet, but I have received assurances from the government that this year's land reclamation plans will be fulfilled,” Aleksandr Lukashenko said.
