Lukashenko sends National Day greetings to Cameroon

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has congratulated President of Cameroon Paul Biya on the National Day of Cameroon, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“More than half a century ago, Cameroonian people were united into a unitary state. Today your country is confidently moving forward, successfully dealing with socio-economic tasks, increasing the living standards of its citizens, and expanding foreign policy dialogue,” the message of congratulations reads.

The head of state reiterated interest in building up bilateral trade, cooperation in the manufacturing industry, science, technology and humanitarian matters, as well as in intensifying interaction on international platforms.

“I will be glad to meet with you in Minsk, Yaoundé or during multilateral events in order to discuss topical issues of Belarus-Cameroon cooperation,” the president said.

Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Paul Biya excellent health, strength and energy to fulfill his plans, and happiness and harmony to all Cameroonians.
