Lukashenko to meet with vice premier of China's State Council

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will hold a meeting with Vice Premier of the State Council of China Liu Guozhong in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

Liu Guozhong arrived in Belarus the day before. He is also the co-chairman of the Belarus-China intergovernmental cooperation committee.
Liu Guozhong took part in the sixth meeting of this committee that was held in Minsk. Taking part in the meeting was First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Nikolai Snopkov. Following the meeting, a number of documents were signed. These include a memorandum of understanding on strengthening investment cooperation in the digital economy, a protocol of the commission of the Belarusian State Committee on Science and Technology and the Chinese Science and Technology Ministry on defining flagship projects for 2025-2026. The protocol of the intergovernmental committee meeting formalized the intention to declare 2026-2027 thematic years of Belarus-China industrial cooperation.
