This information was voiced by the auditor of the Accounts Chamber Valery Bogomolov at the Board of the Russian Accounts Chamber. The Board reviewed the progress report on execution of the Union State budget in January-December 2019 that had been prepared together with the Belarusian State Control Committee.
“For two consecutive years now, my colleagues from the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus and I have been observing a trend towards decreasing surplus balances of the year-earlier Union budget. In 2019, this amount went down 3.2 times after appropriating the remaining funds to new programmes, projects and activities,” said Mr Bogomolov.
Last year, reportedly, the Union State budget revenues slightly exceeded target figures (by 0.1%) and amounted to 7.3 billion rubles.
The level of expenditure execution, however, was lower than last year (99.1%). A third of the main budget holders managed to implement the budget by 100%, though.
Cash execution of 12 key Union State programmes totaled 99%, reads to the website of the Accounts Chamber of Russia.
