In Belarus, there is a significant increase in the popularity of industrial tourism, said Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus Andrei Kuznetsov at a press conference "March - the month of industrial tourism in Belarus," the correspondent of Soyuz.by reports.

Excursions held at industrial enterprises (the system of the Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Architecture and Construction, Bellegprom and Belgospischeprom concerns) were visited by almost 267 thousand people in 2024. This is one third more than in 2023.
The speaker noted that the largest growth in attendance was recorded at the enterprises of the Ministry of Industry system - almost 155 thousand people, which is 67% more than in 2023. Bellegprom concern was visited by almost 5 thousand people (a quarter more), while the enterprises of the concern Belgospischeprom - almost 58.5 thousand people (growth rate of 121%), the enterprises of the Ministry of Construction and Architecture (‘Granit’ quarry and ‘Neman’ glass factory) - 48.6 thousand people.
The top 3 in terms of popularity include such enterprises of the Ministry of Industry system as BELAZ JSC - the managing company of BELAZ-HOLDING holding, MTZ and MAZ.
‘Industrial tourism services are provided by about 20 enterprises of the Ministry of Industry, most of which develop career guidance tourism. This direction also had positive dynamics last year. For example, in 2024 JSC ‘BMZ - Managing Company “BMK” conducted active scientific and educational career guidance work with students. Almost 2.5 thousand schoolchildren and students visited the holding company's enterprise – it’s an increase of almost 2.5 times’, - said the speaker.
