Lukashenko sends Revolution Day greetings to Egypt

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has extended greetings to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi as the country celebrates Revolution Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Belarus highly appreciates Egypt's efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability in the Middle East and Africa, the head of state said. “Egypt makes a significant contribution to the implementation of sustainable development projects, ensuring regional food and energy security,” the message of greetings reads.


The president expressed confidence that further joint activities of the governments of the two countries will help transform the existing potential into mutually beneficial projects to boost industrial, agriculture, scientific, technical and cultural cooperation.


The head of state reiterated his invitation to the president of Egypt to pay an official visit to Belarus at any time convenient for him in order to continue the fruitful dialogue and discuss promising areas of interaction.


Aleksandr Lukashenko wished Abdel Fattah al-Sisi excellent health, success and wellbeing, and also prosperity and progress to the Egyptian people.
