Over 22 thousand foreigners have visited Belarus without visas since the beginning of the year. The State Border Committee informed BELTA about it.

Since 1 January this year, 22,340 foreigners from 38 countries on the visa-free list have arrived in our country. Most travellers came from Belarus's neighbouring countries - Lithuania, Latvia and Poland.

Since 15 April 2022, 1,054,075 European residents have visited Belarus. There were 331,573 foreigners from Latvia, 598,137 from Lithuania, and 106,428 from Poland.

The CBC recalled that the head of state decided to extend visa-free entry for citizens of 38 European countries up to and including 31 December 2025.
