Russia-Ukraine talks underway in Gomel Oblast

Russia and Ukraine are holding their first negotiations in the territory of Gomel Oblast, Belarus, BelTA has learned.

The Russian delegation arrived in Belarus on 27 February. The Ukrainian delegation was brought to the venue of the talks by military helicopters a little less than two hours before the talks.
The parties are holding talks in the area of the Pripyat River near Belarus' border with Ukraine. The exact location of the talks is not specified for security reasons.
