Lukashenko extends National Day greetings to Bulgaria

Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the people of Bulgaria as the country celebrates Bulgaria's Liberation Day on 3 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

According to the head of state, Bulgaria confidently walks the path of sustainable development and strengthening its sovereignty, despite modern challenges in the region.

“This year Minsk and Sofia are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations. We have approached this date with positive results of the bilateral partnership, first of all in the trade and economic sector and successful cooperation between the regions of Belarus and Bulgaria,” the message of greetings reads.

Aleksandr Lukashenko expressed his confidence that the development of the Belarusian-Bulgarian dialogue based on mutual respect, the expansion of contacts in various areas, including economic and humanitarian relations, as well as cooperation at international venues will contribute to further deepening of cooperation between the two countries.
