"Part of our festival's budget is financed by the Union State. And it seems to me that these investments from the Union budget are justified on this Vitebsk land, at this Vitebsk festival," Lapitsky noted.
He said that the "Union State Invites" program lasted three days this year and included unique cultural projects: the unification of the presidential orchestras of Belarus and Russia, a showing of the Belarusian-Russian musical "Dreamers" and a concert featuring the Sretensky Monastery Choir and the Metropolitan Choir.
Lapitsky emphasized that the festival is also a platform for negotiations, meetings, round tables, conferences and exhibitions that contribute to strengthening the unity of the peoples of the Union State.
He announced plans to develop street projects, including a Cossack project this year and a jazz project next year. "We will develop this, we will also develop street projects. There are many ideas. And I think that with the support of the Union State and our creative output, these projects will attract more and more people. And through culture, we will talk about a large integration union," concluded Gleb Lapitsky.
