“I will name just a few measures that provide and will provide support to our enterprises operating on foreign markets. First of all, these are loans. This year's Presidential Decree No. 534 on supporting exports increases the financing by almost Br300 million, up to Br2.1 billion. This is a serious support for exporters. Secondly, we have extended the repayment period from six to 12 months. An exporter can use these resources within a year. Thirdly, we have expanded the list of goods that can be financed to include food products. Fourthly, the restrictions on the amount of the contract were removed. Previously the minimum level of a contract for financing was $3 million. Today you can go to the bank and get a loan for practically any sum. This gives small businesses the opportunity to participate in the financing program,” said Aleksandr Chervyakov.
Another point is related to the reduction of customs procedures, their simplification, which also reduces the cost for business. “Taken together, these five points stimulate exports to new markets. This list is open. Every day we look, analyze the situation, and provide information to the operational situation room operating under the government. If necessary, all proposals that come to us from the business community and MPs are taken into account and used to facilitate trade in foreign markets,” the minister said.
