The two-day visit, full of business meetings and negotiations, resulted in an impressive list of signed documents. The Belarusian delegation took part in ceremonies to launch the active phase of the construction of a AMKODOR plant for post-harvest grain processing in UFA and to open a dealership for the sale and maintenance of MAZ vehicles.
According to MAZ Director General Valery Ivankovich , the dealership in Ufa will help increase sales of MAZ vehicles in the region. "Sales, I think, will go up. This will be also facilitated by the roadmap that has developed following the trip of the head of Bashkortostan to Belarus in December 2021. Today, we finalized all the things and strengthened the positions on which we must work. We have opened a dealership and today we are increasing sales. We have agreed on localization in the promotion of joint-made vehicles (utility and cleaning vehicles). Another area of focus is passenger vehicles: trolleybuses, buses," the general director said.
In addition to that, MAZ and Uralmash signed a RUB250 million contract to deliver 50 MAZ vehicles. MAZ signed another agreement with the Bashkortostan-based company Red Proletarian. More than that, the Belarusian delegation signed a RUB1.5 billion contract to supply Belshina tires to Bashkortostan.
Belorusneft and the Ministry of Trade and Services of the Republic of Bashkortostan outlined general areas of cooperation. The parties signed an agreement of intent to design a network of filling stations on the territory of Bashkortostan.
A cooperation agreement was signed between Minsk Tractor Works and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan to supply Belarusian tractor equipment to Bashkortostan in 2023.
MTZ Director General Vitaly Vovk emphasized that cooperation with Bashkortostan is developing dynamically and Minsk Tractor Works is ready to build momentum. “We have an agreement that provides for the delivery of 50 pieces of equipment next year and further on 200 pieces of equipment every year, so we will increase the volume and pace,” he said.
Judging by the results of the talks, cooperation in the field of unmanned aircraft systems in the territory of Bashkortostan will also pick up steam. The corresponding document was signed by the Belarusian-Chinese society "Aviation Technologies and Systems “ and the Center for Strategic Research of the Republic of Bashkortostan".
On 21 September, the Belarusian government delegation arrived in Kazan. Tomorrow, representatives of Belarusian ministries, departments and enterprises are scheduled to hold a number of business negotiations and meetings, which are expected to drive up the cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Tatarstan.
