More than 150 films from 41 countries will be presented in competition at the XXXI Moscow International Film Festival "Listapad"

The competition program of the XXXI Minsk International Film Festival "Listapad" will feature 157 films from 41 countries.

The festival's selection process was extremely rigorous: a record number of submissions were received—3,655 works from 120 countries. The geography of film production was impressive, with filmmakers from Iran being the most active, submitting over 600 works. India and Russia (over 200 each), Spain (over 180), and Brazil (over 178) also led the way in terms of submissions.

This year's festival will be held from October 31 to November 7 under the slogan "History that Changes Perspectives." The opening ceremony will be held at the Palace of the Republic and, importantly, will be open to everyone. The film forum will conclude at the Moskva Cinema.

The upcoming Listapad is expected to be one of the largest and most comprehensive in recent years, offering audiences a unique opportunity to see the best works of world cinema.
