“At the end of last year, SCO countries accounted for more than 76% of our country’s foreign trade in goods. Such results reinforce our deep conviction of the need to focus on projects capable of ensuring long-term growth in mutual trade and investment. Of particular importance is the formation of sustainable production chains, including cooperation in industry, among other things in mechanical engineering, agriculture, the digital economy and other promising sectors,” Aleksandr Turchin said.

According to him, Belarus views every meeting in the SCO format as a direct opportunity to move from general declarations to concrete agreements. “Our countries have complementary production and technological competencies. And we can fully deploy them in joint activities,” the prime minister stressed.
