“In June 2026, we held productive talks in Brest that set a good pace for implementing joint initiatives. The dialogue in Krasnoyarsk confirms the high level of our partnership and the brotherly relations between our countries,” the NOC head stressed. “The exchange of experience at such venues is extremely important for the development of sport and successful interaction at all levels of our industry.”

“We look forward to further close cooperation. As Russian President Vladimir Putin notes, our countries carefully preserve the traditions of friendship and cooperation, including in sport,” Mikhail Degtyarev said.

The NOC and ROC heads gave particular attention to the international agenda, discussing the difficulties and challenges of the modern world. Both sides are engaged in active, comprehensive work to ensure that Belarusian and Russian athletes can compete at world-level tournaments under national symbols in all sports.
