Lukashenko expected to meet with Putin while in China

The Belarus president’s Press Secretary Natalya Eismont answered a question from the RIA Novosti news agency, which wondered whether Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko may meet with President of Russia Vladimir Putin in China, BelTA has learned.

Natalya Eismont said: “The presidents of Belarus and Russia have never had any problems with organizing a meeting and discussing something. They meet whenever they have to. And they will surely meet this time.”
“It has been repeatedly stated that any integration-related multilateral events offer opportunities for bilateral contacts. Certainly, plans have been made for the Belarus president to have some in China as well,” the press secretary added.
