The Ambassador of Belarus to Russia held a meeting with the Head of Rosaccreditation

The day before, Belarusian Ambassador to Russia, Yuri Seliverstov, held a meeting with the Head of the Russian Federal Accreditation Service, Dmitry Volvach, the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission reported on its Telegram channel.

The participants of the meeting thoroughly discussed issues of interaction between Belarusian and Russian bodies and organizations in the field of accreditation, conformity assessment and certification of goods. 

"The importance of ensuring the quality and safety of goods, products, and equipment, as well as protecting the common market from counterfeiting. These tasks are intended to be addressed, among other things, by the Committee for Standardization and Quality of the Union State - a new supranational body, whose establishment was approved by the Council of Ministers of the Union State in early 2026," the statement noted. 

The discussion also covered the need to expand Belarusian-Russian cooperation in the field of technical regulation. 

It was announced that a working meeting is planned to be held in Moscow in March to discuss the capabilities of the Russian information labeling system for supporting goods with documents on conformity assessment to the requirements of technical regulations.
