"The competition for admission in 2025 has exceeded previous figures. The budget and paid form of education amounted to 1.9 people per place," Yulia Persianskaya emphasized. A total of 590 applicants were enrolled in 2025.
Creative specialties turned out to be the most in demand. Acting attracted about 4 people per place (more precisely, 3.8), theater directing — 2.5 people per place. The Vice-rector noted the popularity of cultural studies, especially the sinology field, where the competition was about 3 people per place. The demand for choreographic art in all areas remains consistently high — the admission plan in 2025 was 58 people.
Popular areas also include socio-cultural activities and art studies (the recruitment plan is 6 people), library and information activities, pop music and pop jazz vocals.
