Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Alexander Rogozhnik met with Governor of Sakhalin Oblast Valery Limarenko at the Eastern Economic Forum, reports the official Telegram channel of the Belarusian Embassy in Russia.

In 2023, a large batch of Belarusian buses was delivered to Sakhalin. The Sakhalin Oblast is interested in continuing cooperation in purchasing Belarusian vehicles.
In addition, the Russian region also wants to reach a new stage in the purchase of BELAZs: it wants to organize at its mining enterprises the testing of vehicles using electricity and, in the future, hydrogen fuel.
There was also interest in the Belarusian experience of IT development - Sakhalin pays a lot of attention to the IT industry, and the Belarusians have a lot to learn from it.
Valery Limarenko will pay his next visit to Belarus this fall.
