Golovchenko, Mishustin discuss economy, measures to combat COVID-19

Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko and Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin discussed Belarus-Russia trade and economic relations over the phone on 30 November. Measures being taken in Belarus and Russia to combat COVID-19 were also discussed, the press service of the Belarusian government told BelTA.

The heads of government confirmed readiness to bolster trade and economic relations across the board.

The sides touched upon the epidemic situation and exchanged opinions about the measures being taken in Belarus and Russia in order to stop the spread of COVID-19.

Roman Golovchenko and Mikhail Mishustin also discussed the schedule of forthcoming government-level contacts and the agenda of the next session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, which is due to take place on 4 December in the videoconference format.
