Belarus and Russia sign agreement on cooperation in the field of software import substitution

The Belarusian company Giprosvyaz and the Russian RusBTEch-Astra signed an agreement in Minsk that defines cooperation in the field of software import substitution, the development of the digital industry in both countries, and is also designed to strengthen Belarusian-Russian cooperation in the field of digitalization. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Communications and Informatization of Belarus Anna Ryabova, Director of JSC Giprosvyaz Anton Alekseev and Director of LLC FP Trade Sergey Voynich. On the Russian side, the document was signed by Nikolai Pryanishnikov, Chief Commercial Officer of the Astra Group.

The document defines the vectors of cooperation in digitalization and support of the digital industry, as well as in the field of experience exchange and the development of joint recommendations on import substitution. A discussion platform will be organized to discuss software import substitution projects. The partner companies will work in the educational field, including the implementation of educational and educational projects to introduce the products of the Russian company.
