Belarusian gymnasts allowed to compete in FIG events

The International Gymnastics Federation (FIG) has decided that Belarusians and Russians may participate in international tournaments in a neutral status, BelTA has learned.

To participate in international competitions, athletes from Belarus must apply to the FIG for a neutral status. Those who receive it will be able to compete in events organized by the governing body from next January.
The decision on the eligibility of Belarusian athletes for the Games will be made by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
