Belarus' Academy of Sciences, Rosatom to set up joint cooperation promotion group

A delegation of Rosatom State Corporation led by Advisor to the Director General Grigory Rapota has paid a visit to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB), BelTA learned from the press service of the National Academy of Sciences.

During the meeting with Vladimir Karanik, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the parties discussed mechanisms for expanding cooperation between the organizations in isotope technologies, electric vehicles, waste recycling, unmanned vehicles, materials science, energy storage, and other matters.

Following the talks, the parties agreed to consider ways to set up a joint Belarusian-Russian group (NASB - Rosatom State Corporation) to consider proposals on cooperation development, and to organize a visit of a delegation of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus to Rosatom in the near future.
