Belarus, Russia discuss equal healthcare rights, modern treatment solutions

Belarusian Ambassador to Russia Yuri Seliverstov held a working meeting with Russian Minister of Health Mikhail Murashko on 18 August, BelTA learned from the press service of Belarusian diplomatic mission.

The parties exchanged views on mechanisms and approaches to providing medical care to Belarusian and Russian citizens in Russia and Belarus, ensuring equal rights and access to healthcare services. Yuri Seliverstov and Mikhail Murashko discussed prospects for cooperation in organizing spa treatment and health improvement programs in Russia for Belarusian children from socially vulnerable groups.

“The parties reviewed current areas of cooperation within the Union State, reaffirming their commitment to deepening integration, including through the introduction of modern treatment technologies and digital transformation of healthcare. The parties supported the implementation of joint projects aimed at improving the accessibility and quality of healthcare for citizens of Belarus and Russia,” the press service added.
