Trade between Belarus, Ryazan Oblast of Russia up by 1.4 times in January-September

Trade between Belarus and Ryazan Oblast of Russia rose 1.4 times in January-September, Deputy Economy Minister Alesia Abramenko said at a meeting with a delegation of Ryazan Oblast of the Russian Federation headed by Deputy Chairwoman of the regional government Yulia Shvakova, BelTA learned from the press service of the Economy Ministry of Belarus.

Belarus and Ryazan Oblast continue to increase mutual trade. "In January-September, our trade rose 1.4 times year-on-year. Belarusian exports went up 1.6 times. These achievements came on the heels of hard work by domestic enterprises to redirect exports to friendly Russia. As a result, we ensured a solid increase in supplies of tractors, trucks, electronic integrated circuits, metallurgy and food products. Thanks to productive cooperation of our business we entered the market of Ryazan Oblast with goods that we did not supply before," she said.

According to her, we will be able to maintain these high rates by advancing cooperation on the basis of industrial cooperation and import substitution, intensification of business contacts. "Such work will certainly receive maximum support from our side,” Alesia Abramenko said.
