State Border Committee probing into incident at Belarus-Lithuania border

The State Border Committee is looking into the circumstances of the incident at the Belarus-Lithuania border, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.

“At night, according to local residents, a man of non-Slavic appearance was found at the Belarus-Lithuania border near the village of Benyakoni. The man seemed to be in critical condition. Belarusian border guards administered first aid, but the man died,” the State Border Committee informed.

At present, the necessary measures are being taken to clarify all the circumstances of the incident.
