Russia's Bashkortostan plans to assemble BELARUS mini-tractors

Plans are in place to set up a facility to assemble BELARUS mini-tractors in Russia's Bashkortostan. The corresponding agreement was signed by MTZ Director Vitaly Vovk and Bashkortostan's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanovon on the sidelines of the Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in Ufa 27 June, BelTA has learned.

The document provides for the development of assembly manufacture of BELARUS 16hp mini-tractors. Bashkortostan proposes a site for the project in the city of Dyurtyuli. In accordance with the agreement, the Belarusian side will provide agricultural producers of Bashkortostan with modern means of small-scale mechanization, spare parts and technical services.
