Moscow to host First Eurasian Congress on 4 December

The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will host the First Eurasian Congress in Moscow on 4 December, BelTA learned from the EDB press service.

The highlight of the event will be the plenary session “Economic pragmatism and mutual benefit as a basis of Eurasian economic integration”. Attending the plenary session will be heads of government of Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
“The goal of the Congress is to search and discuss practical solutions for Eurasian economic integration. Economic integration is successful when its positive effect is felt by all participants of the process, with business winning, and people's welfare increasing” said Chairman of the EDB Board Nikolai Podguzov.
The Congress will include several panel discussions to discuss integration projects, the effect of economic integration in the Eurasian space, the prospects for scaling digital projects and digital transformation, market requirements and expectations for transport and logistics solutions and other topics.

The event will be held in compliance with all epidemiological requirements.
The Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) is an international financial institution founded by Russia and Kazakhstan in January 2006 to promote the development of market economies in member states, their sustainable economic growth and the expansion of mutual trade and economic ties. The EDB's authorized capital is $7 billion. The EDB member states are Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
