First unit of Belarusian nuclear power plant reconnected to power grid

The first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant has been connected to the power grid, the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry.

According to the source, the first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant was connected to the power grid at 18:20 on 4 October. The electrical output of the turbine generator is rising. At present it stands at 360MW.

The first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant was connected to the power grid in line with requirements of the standard operating procedure on safe operation without remarks, the Energy Ministry stressed.
