It is important to showcase all the advantages of manufacturing cooperation and R&D cooperation between Belarusian and Russian enterprises, BelTA learned from Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko.

The government's press service quoted Roman Golovchenko as saying: “It is important not to simply demonstrate accomplishments in manufacturing sector, science and technologies but demonstrate all the advantages of manufacturing cooperation and R&D cooperation between Belarusian and Russian enterprises. It has to be done because we face the most important tasks concerning import substitution and the achievement of technological sovereignty.”

The prime minister also noted that a lot of preparations had been done ahead of the forthcoming Russian expo Innoprom. He added that there are plans to discuss cooperation with Russia's Sverdlovsk Oblast during the expo. The expo will take place in this Russian region.

“We met with the Sverdlovsk Oblast governor in late April and managed to sketch out a number of topics and areas that need to be promoted,” he stressed.

A delegation of the Belarusian government led by Prime Minister of Belarus Roman Golovchenko is expected to leave for Yekaterinburg at the end of the week. The international industrial expo Innoprom 2023 will take place in Yekaterinburg. It will be the first time Belarus takes part in the expo as a partner country.
