Belarusian heavy truck maker BelAZ eager to increase export by 60% in Q1 2021

The Belarusian automobile engineering company BelAZ intends to increase export by 1.6 times in Q1 2021. Belarusian Economy Minister Aleksandr Chervyakov mentioned it at a regular session of the Supervisory Board of OAO BelAZ, the Managing Company of the Holding Company BelAZ, on 25 March, BelTA has learned.

Participants of the session discussed a report by BelAZ Director General Sergei Nikiforovich as well as preliminary results of the company's operation in Q1 2021.

Aleksandr Chervyakov said during the session: “BelAZ has retained its positions on the world market. Demand for the vehicles is steady. The company is increasing deliveries to Russia, the People's Republic of China, India, and other remote countries. In Q1 2021 BelAZ intends to increase export by 1.6 times. The signed delivery contracts will keep the enterprise busy, reduce the stock in storage, and further raise salaries.”
