Belarus' trade with Russia's Arkhangelsk Oblast up by 67% in Q1 2023

Belarus' trade with Arkhangelsk Oblast rose by 67% in Q1 2023, BelTA has learned.

In line with the resolution of the Council of Ministers, the concern is responsible for cooperation with Vologda Oblast and Arkhangelsk Oblast. “Cooperation is vibrant. In 2022, trade with Vologda Oblast grew by 36%. It remained on the growth track in the first quarter of this year. Trade with Arkhangelsk Oblast also increased. In 2022, it expanded by 32% and in the first quarter of this year it rose by 67%,” the press service said.

Deputy Chairman of the concern Aleksandr Pshenny is taking part in the 10th Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in Ufa as part of the Belarusian delegation. He attended the meeting of the chambers of commerce and industry of Belarus and Russia to discuss promising avenues of cooperation between the business circles of the two countries, as well as the thematic section on cooperation between regions, districts and cities of the two states.

On the sidelines of the forum Mozyr Woodworking Plant signed a contract with the Profsystem construction company that uses environmentally friendly and energy-saving technologies in its projects. The contract provides for the supply of heat-insulating boards made of wood fiber by the Belarusian enterprise.
