Belarus to export more mechanical engineering products to Russia's Samara Oblast

Belarus intends to increase shipments of mechanical engineering products to Russia's Samara Oblast. The plans were mentioned as Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mikhail Myatlikov met with a Samara Oblast delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Samara Oblast Government Natalya Katina, BelTA has learned.

The delegation included President of the Samara Oblast Chamber of Commerce and Industry Valery Fomichev, Samara Mayor Yelena Lapushkina, and Russia's trade representative in Belarus Yuri Zolotarev.

Prospects of Belarus' interaction with Samara Oblast in logistics were discussed as well as prospects of shipping more Belarusian mechanical engineering industry products to the Russian region. Matters of cooperation between the chambers of commerce and industry were discussed, including possible organization of events for the private sector and joint participation in major international expos and forums in Belarus and Russia.
