Belarus, Russia's Amur Oblast seek to step up trade in food, farm products

A working group on cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and Amur Oblast of the Russian Federation discussed ways to step up trade in food and farm products during a videoconference meeting, BelTA learned from the the official Telegram channel of the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus.

“The parties reviewed the status of trade and economic cooperation, discussed ways to step up trade in food and farm products, engineering goods, products made by the Bellegprom light industry concern and also considered the prospects for cooperation in agriculture and construction,” the ministry said on its Telegram channel.

The parties signed a plan of action for 2021-2023 to execute the agreement between the governments of Belarus and Russia's Amur Oblast on cooperation in trade, economy, science, technology and culture.
