Integration achievements of Belarus and Russia can be scaled up to the Eurasian Economic Union, Russian Deputy Minister of Economic Development Dmitry Volvach told a press conference on 26 December, BelTA has learned.

“We have a good start and interesting solutions to the construction of the Union State with Belarus. We are ready to share these developments with our counterparts and partners in the Eurasian Economic Union and scale them up to the EAEU,” said Dmitry Volvach.

He cited the development of an information system to administer indirect taxes in the Union State as a good example. According to the deputy minister, this system is unique and it will be launched next year. “It allows for complete and fine control over the creation of value added chains, full and timely payment of taxes to the budget, counteracting tax evasion schemes of all kinds,” said Dmitry Volvach.

“I think that all countries that are ready to use high technology in public administration and tax administration will be interested in it,” the deputy minister of economic development added.
